Staff was wonderful. It was a couple of miles out of the way in the countryside, surrounded by horses. If you do not like horses or the country smell then I would not reccommend. The area is oh so peaceful and relaxing, we really enjoyed it.
The price for dinner was expensive.

We stayed at Due Laghi while house hunting nearby. We were under quite a lot of stress and it was a delight to return to the peace and tranquility of the hotel each evening. Nothing was too much trouble, even when the cable had fallen out of the back of our television on the night of the Italy football match! Our room was exquisitely cleaned every day and all the staff were courteous and smiling. Breakfast on the terrace in the sun was a treat and the beautifully clean pool refreshed us after long hot days in town. The one supper we ate in the hotel was delicious, if a bit overpriced. Fabulous cheeses made on site were too good to describe!
The pool boy was a bit over zealous about kicking guests out of the pool at 7 pm, while there was still dazzling sunshine and 35 degree heat.
